If you’re seeing this, then you’ve probably seen our video all about us trying to grow our buisness.

We want to add a catering trailer to our business, so that we’re able to travel the country and attend events. Taking on another bricks and mortar shop would be amazing and certainly something we’d look to do in the future but for now a trailer offers much smaller overheads and generally a good footfall to each event. The issue is, any money we make in our curent shop goes right back in to the business, either for repairs, new equipment or new product ideas, so we’re left with borrowing money to help us grow.

Conventional lenders are often difficult for small businesses to access and often attract large interest rates making it almost impossible to afford repayments should the lender approve your loan.

So that got me thinking…. what if YOU GUYS essentially donated £10.00 and when the catering trailer is built and ready, we’d invite you to one of our first events where you would receive your FREE ROLLED ICE-CREAM. Well, not entirley free as you’d have essentially bought it in advance. PLUS, we’d have all our donators names printed and displayed on the trailer as a way of saying a HUGE thank you for helping us.

We would also document the WHOLE build from initial purchase and beyond, meaning you’d see exactly where your money has been used to get us on the road.

Our target to make this happen is £20,000, that means 2000 people would need to donate/reserve their ice cream and name space on the trailer.

If we go above the target, then we would invest the money into better equiment and put some into the shop, plus, lets be honest, projects like this often go over budget.

My theory behind this is to not allow the banks and credit card companies to profit from a small business and the ‘interest’ we pay is with ice cream directly to YOU!

What if we don’t raise enough money? Should this happen we can reinvest in to the shop and invite you in for an ice cream here at CT. Either way you get your ice cream and we get to grow our little business without lining the pockets of the major banks and greedy investors.

So there we go! You hopefully get to become a part of our growing business, you’ll have your name on our trailer and you’ll be one of the first to try a rolled ice cream from our trailer!

We undertand that this is a huge ask of you, and we’ve deliberated long and hard as to whether we should, but we want to grow and in my head it just makes sense.
